Welcome to the Actus Customization Landing Page. Here you will be able to learn about the different AutoCAD customization that has been prepared and implemented for Actus.

Below are list of customized commands that are both planned for release as well as already implemented. For commands that have not been implemented yet, the command will be italicized, while active commands are bold. Please note that these commands are still in the process of being developed. Some errors may occur. If an error does occur, please let Alan Whittington know.

INFO
Displays information on Actus Custom Commands DLL.
VPLK
Locks all the viewports in the current DWG.
VPUL
Unlocks all the viewports in the current DWG.
VPTW
Twists a viewport to a user selected angle between 2 points and sets SNAPANG to match.
SLAT
Creates sewer laterals. Uses C3D pipes to determine flow direction, if laterals point in the wrong direction, change the flow direction of the C3D pipe.
WLAT
Creates water laterals.
FHYD
Creates Fire Hydrant laterals.
ATAD
Displays the area of a selected closed polyline in Acres, S.Y. and S.F.
ATAC
Totals areas of selected closed polylines, provides Min, Max and Average for SF, SY and ACRES.
TXTS
If you change your annotation scale, the TXTS command will update all the text styles in the drawing to the current Annoscale.
ADST
Measures the distance in both 2d & 3d between objects. Great for getting a 2d measurement from an object with a Z-elevation.

Actus Tool Palettes.
NOTE
Insert ‘simple’ construction note callouts with leaders. Uses Current Annoscale for block size.
NTNE
Insert ‘simple’ construction note callouts with leaders, also appends the northing and easting to the block attributes. Uses Current Annoscale for block size.
NTLF
Insert ‘simple’ construction note callouts with leaders, also appends the length of an object to the block attributes. Uses Current Annoscale for block size.
NTBR
Insert ‘simple’ construction note callouts with leaders, also appends the bearing of an object to the block attributes. Uses Current Annoscale for block size.
NTSO
Insert ‘simple’ construction note callouts with leaders, also appends the station and offset to a selected alignment to the block attributes. Uses Current Annoscale for block size.
NTMS
Insert ‘simple’ construction note callouts with leaders, also appends a miscellaneous user specified note to the block attributes. Uses Current Annoscale for block size.
NTRV
Insert ‘simple’ revision tag.
LENT
Displays the total length of selected lines, arcs, splines, circles, ellipses and 2d/3d polylines.
TXTA
Allows the user to add a prefix and/or suffix to selected text, MText or dimensions.
TXTC
Changes selected text, MText or dimension text to UPPERCASE.
TXTR
Rotates selected text, MText or dimension text to an absolute angle specified by the user.
SBRK
Adds soft brackets {} to selected text, MText or dimension text.
BRKS
Adds square brackets [] to selected text, MText or dimension text.
PRNS
Adds parenthesis () to selected text, MText or dimension text.
SDEL
Creates Static Elliptical Storm Drain crossing based upon user specified size in selected profile.
STLT
Inserts a specified type of streetlight at the location and rotation specified.
PADO
Offsets pad polylines the specified amount, and places on the C-PADS-L layer.
LOTN
Creates simple lot numbers starting at the specified number and places the text on the C-LOTN-T layer.
BKWV
For determining/labeling BWV needs. Must have MH’s and FF labels in same DWG. Uses Current Annoscale for block size.
PRSV
For determining/labeling PRV needs. Must have FF labels in same DWG. Uses Current Annoscale for block size.
MRKP
Marks a Profile in the selected Profile View with a block denoting a location selected adjacent to Alignment.
GBRK
Creates grade breaks in plan view from profiles. Must be ran in drawing with profiles then copied to grading plan.
PTTG
Converts C3D Cogo Points to a Dynamic Block. Uses AC/EG/FG/FL/TC description for Block as specified by the user, and places the block on the X-ELEV-AC layer.
PTAC
Converts C3D Cogo Points to a Dynamic Block. Uses AC description for Block, and places the block on the X-ELEV-AC layer.
PTED
Converts C3D Cogo Points to a Dynamic Block. Uses ED description for Block, and places the block on the X-ELEV-ED layer.
PTEP
Converts C3D Cogo Points to a Dynamic Block. Uses EP description for Block, and places the block on the X-ELEV-EP layer.
PTEW
Converts C3D Cogo Points to a Dynamic Block. Uses EW description for Block, and places the block on the X-ELEV-EW layer.
PTFG
Converts C3D Cogo Points to a Dynamic Block. Uses FG description for Block, and places the block on the X-ELEV-FG layer.
PTTC
Converts C3D Cogo Points to a Dynamic Block. Uses TC description for Block, and places the block on the X-ELEV-TC layer.
PTFL
Converts C3D Cogo Points to a Dynamic Block. Uses FL description for Block, and places the block on the X-ELEV-FL layer.
PTNP
Converts C3D Cogo Points to a Dynamic Block. Uses the full survey description for Block, and places the block on the Defpoints layer.
PTDS
Converts C3D Cogo Points to a Dynamic Block. Uses the full survey description for Block, and places the block on the X-ELEV layer.
PTFF
Converts C3D Cogo Points to a Dynamic Block. Uses FF description for Block, and places the block on the X-ELEV-FF layer.
FGTG
Inserts a Dynamic Block with the elevation of a selected point and places the block on the C-ELEV-FG layer.
SLPT
Inserts a Dynamic Block with the slope between two selected point and places the block on the C-ELEV-FG layer.
PADS
Elevates selected polylines to the elevation of a selected FF/PAD label.
PEXP
Creates PAD and FF expressions. Expression description is updated to show who created/updated the expression as well as the calculation above the profile.
HEXP
Creates HP expression. Expression description is updated to show who created/updated the expression as well as the calculation above the profile.
O
Offset command. Actus custom command allows you to offset blocks and xref’s. Use in conjunction with the XO command for offsetting blocks and xref’s.
XO
Works in combination with the Actus O – Offset command XO sets the offset block/xref to the Current or Source layer. You must use this command to change preference for blocks and xref’s. Once set use the standard Offset command to offset blocks or Xref line work.
